Small-group language learning that keeps everyone involved
Small-group courses give learners more chances to speak, listen, and ask questions in a focused setting. With a capped class size, each session stays active and balanced, so quieter learners are not left behind and stronger speakers still get room to progress.
Before joining, learners complete an initial level screening so the course can match their starting point and goals. That helps shape the timetable, pace, and lesson focus, whether the aim is to build confidence from beginner level or strengthen existing grammar, vocabulary, and conversation skills.
Capped groups, guided practice, and clear feedback from the first lesson
A practical course format for adult beginners, continuing learners, and small community groups in Watford and online.
Our intensive group course runs over four weeks with four lessons each week, designed for groups of four to eight participants. Learners also complete independent study between classes, which supports steady progress, although outcomes depend on starting level, attendance, practice, and course length.
Feedback is specific and practical, covering grammar, vocabulary, and speaking points that need attention. Periodic progress summaries and guided peer practice help learners see what to work on next without turning the course into an exam-style programme or promising a fixed result.
